the challange

The project involved rolling out 99kW Systems across several schools in greater Sydney.

project goals

Each project consisted of roughly 300 panels and involved crane operations/ engineering oversight- often working on large sites with multiple contractors during covid.

Schools included:

  • Scofield’s Public School

  • Russel Lea Public School

  • Claremont Meadows Public School

  • Excelsior Public School

  • to name a few…

the result

The result is again –  large ongoing savings for the school’s operation. There was a natural fit with each school’s load profile and solar production window. Think heavy use of air conditioning in the summer months –  when systems can deliver 800kWh each day.

This is truly an example of NSW Government wisely investing to future proof these vital schools’ operations in the face of rising energy costs. There was also the opportunity to supply students with an overview of how solar works and its expected outcomes.

Each school typically saves $25K each year in offsetting their ongoing operational expenses.
